I'm Hwidong Bae, a person fueled by ambition, mastering various roles with grace. 'How do you balance parenting, work, mentoring, writing, and your personal development?'—such inquiries often reach me, echoing the underlying question of how one enriches their life to such an extent.

Reflecting on this, my life’s density notably started to increase two years ago when I began running a (Korean) newsletter named Boost Life Density. This role benefitted all my other roles compoundingly. From a certain point, like a rolling snowball, the pace at which the density of my life increased became much faster.

The first three letters in 2022.

The impact of this newsletter ignited a new ambition within me: to share this profound journey with a broader audience. Hence, I moved to this new blogging platform, Ghost, aiming to shift focus towards topics that promise compounded benefits from early engagement.

Core Themes of stdy.blog

"stdy" in stdy.blog is inspired by my two beloved concepts: "steady" and "study". It signifies my commitment to continuous learning and sharing through blogging. The blog delves into topics that yield exponential benefits in life, covering:

  • Designing goals, habits, behaviors, and experiences
  • Elevating physical, emotional, and cogntive strengths
  • Empowering oneself and others with cutting-edge tools and skills for smarter living (hardware, software, coaching techniques, visualization techniques, interview skills, etc.)

These subjects have significantly enriched my life, offering improvements achievable through dedicated learning and practice. Some of these are almost finished, some are just sketched out, and some are intentionally set aside for further study. If you have a topic you're drawn to, please leave a comment on the post. I'll do a little prioritization.
